A chauffeur and private-tour website for airport transfers, Reykjavík rides, and destination-based travel across Iceland.
OVERVIEW
A complete digital presence for an Icelandic chauffeur business.
Foss & Beyond was created for a Reykjavík-based chauffeur and private-tour business serving travellers throughout Iceland.
The project grew beyond a simple company website into a structured travel platform with destination pages, service information, booking workflows, direct customer contact, and a consistent visual identity across desktop and mobile devices.
THE CHALLENGE
Turn several travel services into one clear customer journey.
Chauffeur customers may arrive with very different needs: an airport transfer, a Reykjavík ride, a private day trip, or a specific Icelandic destination already in mind.
The challenge was to organize these services without overwhelming the visitor while keeping booking actions accessible throughout the site. Each destination also needed enough context to function as its own useful landing page.

Make exploring, understanding, and requesting a ride straightforward.
Simple booking flow
Collect the information needed for airport transfers, private rides, passengers, luggage, dates, and pickup details.
Mobile-first usability
Keep navigation, forms, destination pages, and contact actions comfortable to use on phones.
Professional presentation
Establish a consistent brand and trustworthy digital presence for a customer-facing tourism business.
DESIGN APPROACH
Warm Icelandic travel imagery with a clean service-oriented interface.
The visual direction combines warm amber accents, dark neutral text, spacious layouts, and large Icelandic photography. The objective was to feel welcoming and premium without becoming visually complicated.

WHAT I LEARNED
A business website becomes more valuable when the entire customer journey works.
Foss & Beyond reinforced the importance of thinking beyond individual pages. Navigation, destination content, booking forms, email delivery, mobile behavior, deployment, and client handoff all have to function as one system.
The project also strengthened my experience in supporting a live production website after launch, including responsive fixes, mailbox configuration, hosting, DNS, SSL, SEO, and practical troubleshooting.
